Fried rice (scrambled egg method)

Ingredients

  • 400g Liver (par-boiled, diced and lightly fried)
  • 20g green beans
  • 20g green bell pepper (diced)
  • 1 Medium onions (sliced)
  • 20g carrot (diced)
  • 1l meat stock
  • 1 tablespoon tumeric
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • 2 tablespoons white pepper
  • butter
  • 1kg rice (par-boiled)
  • 4 Large scrambled egg (fried)
  • 3 pieces yellow pepper (sliced)
  • seasoning
  • salt

Note

Be sure to rinse the par-boiled rice in tap water until completely cold and leave on a sieve to drain for some minutes before starting.

Directions

Step 1
prepare your ingredients

sieve meat stock into a deep pot on the fire,add tumeric and curry,seasoning and salt.
Step 3
add the par-boiled rice and quickly stir to mix before it starts boiling. Add very little water and cover to cook until completely dried but not burnt
Step 4
when stock is completely dried, stir to mix and set aside
Step 5
put a frying pan on the fire and add butter, then wait until melted
Step 6
add part of the diced vegetables,fried liver,scrambled egg,white pepper and little powdered seasoning and fry for 30seconds (check of my tutorial on how to make scrambled egg here....)
Step 7
then add part of the cooked rice
Step 8
mix well and stir fry for 1-2minutes and pour in a dish then repeat from step 5 for the remaining rice

  1. Hi Sekki, pls roughly how many in numbers make up for 20grams green beans, 20 grams green bell pepper and 20grams carrot? Also with 1kg rice, roughly how many big peak milk tin size make for that. So sorry, u can already tell by this that my maths is appalling!πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

    • Hello Zee, for the green beans it would depend on the size of it. But you can add quantity based on taste. For the rice, i would have to do that exact measure to be able to have an accurate answer for you. For now i don’t have that milk cup you described. But stay tuned as i hope to makes these conversions soonest and do a post of them
