Ojojo is like a sister to akara only that its made with grated water yam tuber. It is super delicious with a crunchy crust and tender inner.

Ingredients

  • 400g wateryam tuber (grated)
  • 2 pieces fresh scotch bonnet pepper (sliced)
  • 1/2 Small onions (sliced)
  • seasoning
  • salt
  • vegetable oil (for frying)

Directions

Step 1
peel, wash and grate the watery into a bowl and add the sliced onion, pepper with seasoning and salt
Step 2
use you clean hands to mix well until all the added ingredients are well integrated.
Step 3
place a pan with the vegetable oil and allow to heat up
Step 4
then scoop in the water yam mix in balls
Step 5
fry until golden brown and transfer to a sieve.
