Pounded yam lovers... so I was thinking if unripe plantain swallow could be made this way, then yam could also be made likewise. Though I was having second thoughts but then, I saw a video online where someone made it and I was like shwoo!!! someone is thinking same line and I got the courage to go ahead and try it. But I must say, I observed this method makes the texture feel more like fresh semo, the pounded yam addicts will surely notice some difference in texture.
Ingredients
- 1/2 Tuber yam (for pounded yam)

Good Job here!
Thanks Fagbamigbe 🤗🤗🤗
Will be trying this out next week.
Please do Marian
I did nine it turned black like amala dudu
The specie of yam used can cause that and also if the yam has stayed for long in the store
Exactly what happened in my own case too, and I had to check online to be sure someone else had tried it and got this type of result. The yam was white before pouring it into the blender, but it came out brownish black after blending. I wish someone who had really tried it and got a positive result will come here to comment.
Fantastic! Every Ondo man must read this and get their spouses to memorize same
Thanks a whale
